Our client is a well-known and highly respected civil and earth moving company. They have been experiencing steady growth over the last 12 months and are now looking for a Diesel Fitter to join the team.

About the diesel fitter job role

You will be required to undertake maintenance, repairs and servicing work on various plant equipment both onsite in our workshop and in the field.

Diesel Fitter Skills and Experience Required

• At least 5-6 years’ experience and Australian Trade Qualified Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic
• Current active drivers license
• Proven fitter experience in repairing earthmoving plant equipment
• Pass a Drug and alcohol test & Statutory Declaration
• Elevated Work Platform Ticket
• Working At Heights Certificate
• High Risk Forklift Ticket (ESSENTIAL)
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Trustworthy and timely with a commitment to the job
• Construction White Card and PPE
