Due to a steady annual increase in work they are expanding their team and looking for the best people in the industry to work on major projects in Sydney ranging from $500K to $5million
About the steel fixer job role
Successful candidates will be working on large civil construction projects, within a team of concreters, steel fixers and general labourers. Contracts will run from 6 months – 12 months, previous civil experience is a must and any tickets on plant machinery a bonus.
Steel Fixer Skills and Experience Required
- Trade qualifications and at least 3 years’ steel fixing experience
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools
- Formwork and concreting experience needed
- Ability to read plans and drawings
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and alone
- Hardworking , reliable and punctual
- Construction White Card, own tools, vehicle and PPE
